On the largest island in the Caribbean, our Cuba Motorcycle Tour combines idyllic beaches and stunning countryside with historic towns and a vivacious culture. Behind the sometimes shabby facades, gold-dust lingers. It’s these rich dichotomies that make travel here the exciting, exhilarating roller-coaster ride it is. Trapped in a time warp and reeling from an economic embargo that has grated for more than half a century, this is a country where you can wave goodbye to Western certainties and expect the unexpected.
During this tour of Cuba with Extreme Bike Tours, you will ride through and visit some of the most spectacular parts of Cuba. Historic Havana, Cienfuegos, Trinidad and Santiago de Cuba, rural villages, sun and salsa.
Your fuel and accommodation are included in the cost of the tour. You may need to pay for additional excursions and items personal in nature (alcohol etc).
Approx. 6-8 hours riding per day
Airport pick up and transfer to the hotel.
We will explore the colonial splendour of old town Havana on a walking city tour. We’ll visit to the fortresses Morro and la Cabaña, where Ché Guevara had his headquarters with magnificent views of Havana and visit the Hemingway’s Country estate on the bikes, nwhich is now a museum. With so mush to see in Viñales, we will stay for the day, visiting the Prehistoric Wall with enormous wall paintings, a traditional tobacco farmer’s house and have lunch at the Cimarron’s Cave – once used by runaway slaves. The day will end with a beautiful roundtrip in the mountains.
We start this aqua-themed day at a crocodile farm in Boca de Ciénaga, followed by a once-in-a-lifetime lunch experience at Cave of the Fish – a deepwater hole in the forest, filled with exotic fish! Jump in and take a swim in this natural, tropical fish tank. We also visit a museum at the historically famous Bay of Pigs.
