South Indian Tour

This tour takes you into the highlights of South India. Hill Stations, Tea and Coffee plantations and the best of Indian beaches all rapped up into 15-days tour on a 500cc Royal Enfield motorbike. It doesn’t get much better than this for a winter break. You will get a real sense of the Indian continent and the Indian people and see stunning variety of what India has to offer. Day 1 – Cochin
Arrive in Cochin and pickup from Airport and taken to a Luxury Hotel. Time to check out Fort Cochin.
Day 2 – Cochin
Introduction to your 500cc Royal Enfield and a day getting used to your bikes. (50 km)
Day 3 – Cochin – Munnar
Leaving Cochin we head out into the countryside and you begin to get the feel of India. We will eventually begin to climb up to the beautiful Hill Station of Munnar. Tea plantations surround us and we check in to our hotel for the night. (100 km)
Day 4 – Munnar
We spend the day touring around this Hill Station and the tea plantations. Beautiful scenery and winding roads are the order of the day. (80 km)
Day 5 – Munnar – Madurai
Winding roads lead us back down from the tea plantation and we head towards Madurai. Once there we will visit the astonishing Sri Meenakshi temple and check into our hotel for the night. (160 km)
Day 6 – Madurai – Kodaikanal
We head back up to another one of India’s most famous hill stations today and more beautiful surroundings. The scenery really is out of this world and as we reach Kodai the air becomes cooler as we go up from the Indian planes. A night in our guesthouse and time to walk around the lakes and town. (120 km)
Day 7 – Kodaikanal – Tiger Reserve and National Park of Mudumalai
A long drive today will take us 350 km from one hill station through Ooti Madurai national park and again to another incredibly beautiful resort. After a hard drive a good night sleep will be well deserved in a game reserve with pool. (350 km)
Day 8 – National Park Mudumalai
Today you will get the chance to relax by the pool, go on safari and sit at the bar while our team of mechanics checks the bikes for the next leg of the tour.
Day 9 – Mudumalai – Mysore
Long winding roads, spectacular views and a chance to open up the throttle a bit as we head to Mysore. This amazing city is famous around the world for its Palace, Temples and Bazaars. A short ride will give you a chance to go site seeing. (120km)
Day 10 – Mysore – Udipi
We head towards the coast today and after a long drive we arrive at a beach resort for the night. A nice swim in the Arabian Sea will be delightful after the drive across the plains. (300 km)
Day 11 – Udipi – Agonda Beach Goa
Know the tour follows the coast up towards Goa, Palm trees dot the white beaches and a nice sea breeze keeps you cool. Our Destination is Agonda Beach a stone throw away from the hustle and bustle of its famous neighbor Palolem. After the ride the relaxed atmosphere of Agonda will be very rewarding and we should be there for a late lunch. (150 km)
Day 12 – Agonda, Turtle Beach and Palolem Beach
A tour around the best beaches of South Goa. Turtle beach is deserted and white sand and warm water will wash the tension out of you limbs. Amazing lunch will be prepared on this beach. In the afternoon we will head to Palolem to check out the beach and the shops. (80 km)
Day 13 – Patnem – Anjuna
We ride up the coast around winding roads and head north to Anjuna, the famous beach that the Hippies invaded in the 1960’s. The vibe still remains the same, good food and shopping and a great hotel await you here where you can lie by the pool and relax. (140 km)
Day 14 – Anjuna
More cruising around Anjuna, relax by the pool, the beaches and the shops are on to today’s program.
Day 15: Flights Home
Drop of to Goa airport for your return flight or on to your next destination.
