This tour has lots of amazing riding, from the hill country to the wild life parks and the coast. The riding is varied and most of the roads are fantastic having recently been laid and upgraded, sweeping corners are everywhere in the hills providing perfect conditions for motorbiking. The hotels we have chosen are some of the best in the country and they really do showcase the ‘boutique’ nature of the island.

Day 1
The Wallawwa
Set in 200-year-old tropical gardens just 15-minutes’ drive from airport, an award-winning 18-bedroom country house hotel with gourmet food, jungle pool and heavenly spa, carved out of an atmospheric 18th century manor house, exudes style and serenity.
Day 2
Ulagalla Resort
Sprawling 58-acre lush green garden with a 150-year-old mansion at its centre, rich with cultural heritage and historical significance. Interposed within this natural habitat, there are 25 villas with private pools, cautiously designed and built to maintain the ecological balance of the surroundings.

Day 7
Wild Coast Tented Lodge
Wild Coast Tented Lodge is adjacent to Yala National Park, renowned for its leopard population. This spectacular luxury tented camp is situated on a rugged, empty beach, overlooking the Indian Ocean. The open-air bamboo-clad Ten Tuskers bar and Dining Pavilion – designed to mirror the boulders scattered across the golden beach beyond – wrap around the resort’s enormous free-form swimming pool. Guests can enjoy creative daily-changing menus of authentic Sri Lankan cuisine in the restaurant, as well as sundowner cocktails and picnics al fresco on the sand dunes, watching dusk settle over the Indian Ocean.

Why House
This stunning, family orientated boutique hotel sits within a beautifully landscaped three acre walled garden of tropical plants, fruit and spice trees. The picturesque property can sleep up to 24 guests in 10 double en-suite rooms, all with private terraces. Each individually designed room has free Wi-Fi, mini fridge and a luxuriously built en-suite bathroom. An entertainment and outside dining pavilion sits next to the large swimming pool and allows you to enjoy the views of the extensive landscaped gardens.
