    About the Tanzania & Zanzibar Motorcycle Tour

    From the foothills of Mount Meru, where you’ll mount the Royal Enfield Himalayan and set off on an exhilarating ride around the mountain and along the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro. You’ll be awed by the stunning views of these iconic peaks and the picturesque landscape that surrounds them.

    As you ride through the wilderness, you’ll encounter a variety of African wildlife, including elephants, giraffes, and wildebeests, in their natural habitat. You’ll also have the chance to witness the vibrant pink hues of Lesser Flamingos at Lake Natron, one of the few places in the world where these magnificent birds breed.

    Next, you’ll head to the active volcano of Ol Doinyo Lengai, where you’ll explore the rugged terrain and witness the awe-inspiring power of nature. This is a rare opportunity to witness a live volcano up close, a truly once-in-a-lifetime experience.

    The journey continues along the Great Rift Valley Escarpment, where you’ll enjoy spectacular views of the dramatic landscapes, including the stunning Lake Eyasi and Lake Natron. Here, you’ll encounter the Hadzabe and Maasai tribes, who have lived in these remote regions for centuries, and learn about their fascinating cultures and traditions.

    After an exciting ride, you’ll head to the tropical paradise of Zanzibar, where you can relax and soak up the stunning beaches, lush vegetation, and vibrant culture of the island. From snorkeling in crystal clear waters to exploring the charming old town of Stone Town, Zanzibar has something for everyone.

    Finally, you’ll embark on a thrilling African Wildlife safari in the iconic Ngoro Ngoro Crater, where you’ll encounter some of Africa’s most iconic wildlife, including lions, elephants, and rhinos. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to witness these magnificent animals up close and in their natural habitat.

    Sri Lanka applies moderate precautions. In general, there are no restrictions for fully vaccinated travelers.     To ride in Sri Lanka you need a valid International Driving License and an endorsement from the Ceylon AA (the local Automobile Association) which we will obtain for you upon booking confirmation.

    The climate in Sri Lanka is tropical and consists of both wet and dry seasons. In general, during the day the temperature is above 25C°, however it can get lower in the highlands (14/15C°).

    Beside protective clothing such as pants, boots and jackets for when riding, in general you can wear shorts and light t-shirts. It is also recommended to bring a sweater or two, alongside with some long pants for when staying at higher altitude. Waterproof jacket is also recommended as some days might be rainy.

    Partners, family members or friends of riders can also join and travel in the support vehicle at Pillion price. 

    The minimum number of riders required for any tour in Sri Lanka is 3. The maximum number of riders per group is 10.
