    What Our Customers Say

"The tour of Sri Lanka we enjoyed in March 2024 was an absolute rip snorting good time! With some exciting riding and a great range of outstanding hotels to ensure we faced each new day in great spirits. Ben and Simone were fabulous hosts while Malith, Avo, Ruwan and Roshan all ensured we stayed on track (well most of the time) and kept a smile on our faces."

    Ian Chapman

"Just completed the Sri Lanka Ancient Kingdoms & the North tour. Amazing trip. The entire tour was organised brilliantly. Great bikes, food, accommodation and support crew. Great time all round. Totally recommend."

    Ashley Wilson

"For riders who don’t usually do groups (like us), we can only say that we would do it all again with Extreme.

    Ann & Mac MacPherson

“I must say that having just completed this wonderful tour it really is a 10/10 for Extreme Bike Tours . I’ve previously completed over 25+ tours with some of the industry leaders all over the world and would rate EBT the best by far. Thank you”

    About An Indian Odissey Tour

Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh offer a vibrant tapestry of history, culture, and natural beauty, all waiting to be explored on an unforgettable motorcycle journey known as “An Indian Odyssey.”

This epic tour begins in New Delhi, where you’ll board a bus to the charming Chandni Midway Resort. Here, you will mount your Royal Enfield motorcycles and set off on an adventure across a diverse landscape that spans deserts, majestic palaces, ancient forts, and dense forests, providing a unique blend of adventure and luxury.

Starting from the historic town of Mandawa, renowned for its stunning havelis adorned with intricate frescoes, the journey leads you to the desert hamlet of Khimsar. Here, you’ll experience the rustic charm of the Thar Desert and stay in heritage properties that echo tales of valor and romance.

From Khimsar, ride through the golden sands to Khuri, a quaint village offering a glimpse into the traditional desert lifestyle. Continue to Jaisalmer, the ‘Golden City,’ where the imposing Jaisalmer Fort stands as a testament to Rajputana grandeur. Explore the narrow streets, vibrant bazaars, and ornate temples, staying in heritage hotels that capture the essence of the city.

The adventure proceeds to Jodhpur, the ‘Blue City,’ home to the majestic Mehrangarh Fort and the serene Umaid Bhawan Palace. Here, the rich history and culture of Rajasthan come alive as you immerse yourself in the royal lifestyle.

Next, traverse to Kumbalgarh, famed for its formidable fortress and the second-longest wall in the world. The journey continues to the romantic city of Udaipur, where the shimmering Lake Pichola and the luxurious Lake Palace create an enchanting ambiance.

From Udaipur, ride to the lesser-known gem of Deogarh, where you’ll stay in the magnificent Deogarh Palace. Perched atop the Aravalli Hills, this palace offers an authentic Rajasthani experience with its royal heritage, cultural performances, and breathtaking views.

Proceed to Bijaipur, another heritage haven, and then venture into the heart of Madhya Pradesh, starting with Sheopur. Known for its wildlife sanctuary, Sheopur is a gateway to the raw wilderness of Madhya Pradesh.

Continue to Gwalior, where the grand Gwalior Fort dominates the skyline, offering panoramic views and a deep dive into the region’s history. The tour then takes you to Orchha, a town frozen in time with its well-preserved palaces and temples along the Betwa River.

From Orchha, journey to Khajuraho, famous for its UNESCO World Heritage-listed temples adorned with exquisite erotic sculptures. In Panna, the lush forests and the Ken River provide a refreshing contrast to the architectural wonders of Khajuraho.

A visit to Maihar follows, known for its hilltop temple dedicated to Goddess Sharda, offering spiritual solace and breathtaking views. The final leg of the journey takes you to Bandhavgarh, a renowned tiger reserve where you can experience thrilling safaris and stay in eco-luxury resorts amidst the wilderness.

The adventure concludes at Bedaghat, where the marble rocks on the Narmada River create a surreal landscape, ending your odyssey on a high note.

Throughout the journey, you’ll stay in some of the most luxurious and historically significant properties in India, including the majestic Khimsar Fort, the opulent Rang Mahal in Jaisalmer, and the exquisite Deogarh Palace. These properties, each with its own unique charm and historical significance, add a touch of royal luxury to “An Indian Odyssey,” making the journey not just an adventure, but a regal experience through India.
