A full immersion into the Ancient Kingdoms of Sri Lanka, taking in the Cultural Triangle and “Little England” – Nuwara Eliya – before riding towards the north of Sri Lanka and reaching Jaffna, a part of the island that has not yet been developed and exploited by tourism due to the three decades war that ended in 2009.
After a rest day in Jaffna we will ride towards Colombo passing through Wilpattu National Park where with some luck we will be able to spot Leopards during a safari.

Just finished an unforgettable adventure with Extreme Bike Tours in Sri Lanka, and I couldn’t be more impressed. From start to finish, everything was incredibly well organised, and the itinerary was clearly designed with care and local insight. Every day brought something new—beautiful roads, stunning landscapes, and the perfect mix of riding, culture, and relaxation. The accommodation throughout the tour exceeded expectations, offering comfort, great service, and a chance to unwind in some breathtaking locations. But what truly made the trip stand out was the group of people on the tour—an amazing bunch who turned a great experience into something genuinely special. The crew behind Extreme Bike Tours know how to create a tour that feels less like a booking and more like joining a family on two wheels. If you’re thinking about riding Sri Lanka, this is absolutely the way to do it. Can’t recommend them highly enough!
Our recent tour of Tibet was well organised and even though the Monsoon threw a curved weather ball at us, Ben pivoted to an alternative route without fuss. The days were well planned so that we could enjoy a good ride without over doing it and still have time for local visits etc. Great trip. Thanks heaps.

After living in Nepal in the mid-eighties, I’d long dreamed of visiting Lhasa. And what better way to make that dream come true than by riding across the Himalayas on a motorbike? Ben and the Extreme Bike Tours team turned that dream into an unforgettable reality—an adventure filled with memories that will last a lifetime. Ben’s experience and relaxed, good-natured style guided us through some truly extraordinary challenges, all while making the journey feel effortless. From visas and customs to border crossings, local guides, hotels, and meals—everything was handled seamlessly. I’ll definitely be signing up for more of these incredible adventures. Huge heartfelt thanks to Ben and Extreme Bike Tours.
