Una full immersion negli Antichi Regni dello Sri Lanka, toccando il Triangolo Culturale e la la “Piccola Inghilterra” – Nuwara Eliya – prima di dirigersi verso il nord dello Sri Lanka e raggiungere Jaffna, una parte dell’isola non ancora sviluppata e sfruttata dal turismo, a causa della guerra dei tre decenni conclusasi nel 2009.
Dopo una giornata di riposo a Trincomalee per goderci il mare, viaggeremo attraverso il nord dell’isola passando per il Parco Nazionale Wilpattu dove con un po’ di fortuna si potranno avvistare elefanti e leopardi durante un safari.
13 giorni, 12 notti, con un buon mix tra cruising, visite guidate, mare, natura e attivita extra come immersioni subaque, snorkeling o battute di pesca. La perfetta vacanza in moto ai tropici.

In generale é un tour abbastanza facile con qualche piccola sfida. Le strade sono per la maggior parte asfaltate ad eccezione di un paio di tratti sterrati, di cui uno di circa 50km attraverso un parco nazionale.

Per guidare in Sri Lanka, avrai bisogno di una patente di guida internazionale valida e di un permesso di Ceylon AA (l’Associazione automobilistica locale), che otterremo per te sulla conferma della prenotazione.
Il clima in Sri Lanka è tropicale ed è costituito da stagioni umide e secche. In genere di giorno la temperatura è superiore ai 25°C, ma può essere più bassa in alta montagna (14/15°C).
Oltre a indumenti protettivi come pantaloni, stivali e una giacca da motociclista, in genere puoi indossare pantaloncini e una maglietta. Si consiglia inoltre di portare una o due felpe per quando si soggiorna ad altitudini più elevate. Si consiglia anche l’abbigliamento impermeabile poiché alcuni giorni possono essere piovosi.
Anche i partner, i familiari o gli amici dei motociclisti possono unirsi e viaggiare nel veicolo di supporto del prezzo del passeggero
Generalmente il numero minimo di partecipanti richiesto per qualsiasi tour in Sri Lanka è di 8 motociclisti/e. Il numero massimo per gruppo è di 10 tuttavia se vi sono richieste è possibile aggiungere altre .

Our recent tour of Tibet was well organised and even though the Monsoon threw a curved weather ball at us, Ben pivoted to an alternative route without fuss.
