Itinerary

It’s good to leave in the early hours and take advantage of the cooler weather.

Meeting at 7.00 am at The Shack Beach Cafe in Galle, for introductions, a quick brief and a light breakfast.

After breakfast, we will depart towards Sinharaja Rainforest, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its exceptional biodiversity. The ride will take us through small bustling towns and scenic tea plantations.

Time to hit the road and face the first challenge: getting out of the busy area.

During the first few kilometers, it will be a slow ride to ensure that you are comfortable with the bikes.

Once out of Galle, ride through small busy towns until reaching tea plantations at a slightly higher altitude.

Expect to ride for approximately 3 hours with a couple of breaks in between.

Arrive in Deniyaya, a small town just bordering the Sinharaja rainforest.

Traditional homemade Sri Lankan lunch and a longer break before getting back on the road.

We get back on the road and get into the rainforest to cross it. This bit of road includes a few challenges such as narrow dirt pathways and potholes. Once on the other side

Back to Galle just before sunset for a farewell drink.

    What Our Customers Say

"The tour of Sri Lanka we enjoyed in March 2024 was an absolute rip snorting good time! With some exciting riding and a great range of outstanding hotels to ensure we faced each new day in great spirits. Ben and Simone were fabulous hosts while Malith, Avo, Ruwan and Roshan all ensured we stayed on track (well most of the time) and kept a smile on our faces."

    Ian Chapman

"Just completed the Sri Lanka Ancient Kingdoms & the North tour. Amazing trip. The entire tour was organised brilliantly. Great bikes, food, accommodation and support crew. Great time all round. Totally recommend."

    Ashley Wilson

"For riders who don’t usually do groups (like us), we can only say that we would do it all again with Extreme.

    Ann & Mac MacPherson
